The Gould's monitor (Varanus gouldii) is native to northern and eastern
Australia. They are active foragers during the day and will eat any
animal smaller than themselves. They grow to an average size of four
and a half feet, and deposit their eggs inside termite mounds. For a
better view of their surroundings they will stand on their hind legs and
tail in a "tripod" pose.
This is an 8.5" x 5.5" greeting card.
It's lovingly printed in black and white by minimum wage copy-shop
employees onto FSC certified 20% recycled Ultra Bright White cardstock
from a high quality scan of my original pen and ink drawing, then
hand-folded by me. This is drawn from a photo by Peter Robertson, used
with permission.
The card is blank inside, making it usable for any occasion, especially reptile-related events.
Includes an appropriately sized white envelope. |
