Desert tortoises (Gopherus agassizii) are hardy survivors, native to the
deserts of the southwestern United States. They are herbivores that
can go for more than a year without water, and the burrows they dig are
utilized by various other desert fauna. They are threatened by habitat
destruction, invasive species, and climate change.
This is an
8.5" x 5.5" greeting card. It's lovingly printed in black and white by
minimum wage copy-shop employees onto FSC certified 20% recycled Ultra
Bright White cardstock from a high quality scan of my original art, then
hand-folded by me. It is a portrait of a tortoise I happened across in
the spring of 2009 in Mojave National Preserve.
The card is blank inside, making it usable for any occasion, especially reptile-related events.
Includes an appropriately sized white envelope. |
